Today, everyone in Junior R had to help stop some aliens from destroying the Solar System.
We were contacted by email early in the morning by the Mission Commander from the Solar System Information Centre who was desperate for someone to help. We read the information on their website and saw how much danger we were in.
The Zyphons were threatening to destroy our Solar System in 6 hours, unless someone could give them some information about it and convince them that it was worth saving.
Everyone had to work really hard to complete missions that were emailed out by the Mission Commander. We had to research on the internet, then email our answers to Mission Commander. When we completed a mission, we got an award and a new job. We started Mission 1 as a Space Station Cleaner, and some people are now on Mission 2 and are Junior Researchers. A few people managed to finished Missions 3 and 4 as well and they have new jobs too.
In the morning, we got an email from The Brain at the Centre of the Universe, and The Brain offered to help us if we got really stuck with our research. When we emailed questions, the Brain gave us a link to a good website where we could find our answers.
Nobody made it through to Mission 6, so we were lucky that the Zyphons decided they needed more information before they destroyed everything. They have agreed to wait until we tell them more about our Solar System.
Of course we all made and wore our foil helmets to stop the aliens from reading, and possibly eating, our brains.
