Now that you have introduced your class or group to the rap in "Welcome and introductions" let us know about your favourite author and/or picture books. Can you share what you create in the Gallery? I am excited to begin this journey with everyone.

Our school read the "Very Cranky Bear" by Nick Bland for Simultaneous Storytime. Our class, 1S thought that the story was very interesting and fun to read. We especially liked when the cranky bear roared at the animals, and when the sheep made the nice soft pillow for the bear. From 1S, at Kempsey West PS

What fun, 1S! The National Simultaneous Storytime was a great opportunity to get togther and read a delicious picture book. You must have enjoyed the experience, especially as so many students around Australia were also sharing the same book at the very same time. If you created stories or artwork for the funny bear, the other rappers would like to see your work in the Gallery.

Hello Everyone, We wanted to write to you and tell you about our favourite story. It is called Happy Ever After, Rapunzel Cuts Loose by Tony Bradman. The story is about Rapunzel who lives in the palace with Prince Dynamo. She is unhappy because she wants to cut her hair. The story is funny because Rapunzel is talking to Prince Dynamo about cutting her hair but he doesn’t agree. She cuts off her hair anyway and wears a wig when she sees the Prince. We haven’t finished the book yet, but we are looking forward to reading it. We hope you get to read it too. From, The Bookworms.
