I'm sure there are many ways to demonstrate safety on bikes and skateboards. Why not send your stories and poems to the Gallery and comment to other rappers about how you arrived at the polished product. I am looking forward to seeing the results!

We have just received lots of free posters and leaflets about bike safety, which we are going to use in our Library lessons this term.We are also going to learn about bike riding in Boys Group and going out on bike rides. It should be fun!

Wonderful, Rapping Riders! Can you send your thoughts about bike riding and how you have expressed what you have learned in library lessons in the Gallery? We are very keen to see what the Boys Group produces that helps us understand about bike safety.

rapping Riders thought that for Mulga Bill to be safe, he needs to: • Wear a helmet • Check his bicycle • Check the tyres • Fix his brakes • Wear protective clothing • Wear correct footwear • Find a safe place to ride • Make sure he knows how to ride properly before he goes down a hill • Ride slowly and watch where he’s going

Our Rapping Riders are also looking at cycling in the Olympics and finding out about the different events and venues. This term we will also be going out on some bike rides, using all our ideas about bike safety.
