Develop signage and 3D display graphics
On successful completion of this unit you will be able
to apply graphic design processes to the development and implementation of three dimensional display designs and in directional and general signage.
Specifically, you should be able to:
Identify client and site requirements for a specified brief with consideration of ergonomic and anthropometric requirements including spatial, lighting and legibility.
Identify alternative design solutions by exploring and experimenting with different media, contexts and designs.
Apply design solutions to directional and general signage, and labelling in different public, architectural or environmental contexts.
Incorporate images and typography in innovative and effective 3 dimensional design solutions.
Present and critically evaluate signage and 3 dimensional design systems individually and in teams.
