For GOVERNMENT students: In order to participate in the Premier's Reading Challenge, students must have approval to access the internet and have an online account. Students who do not have permission for online access should take part in the Challenge unofficially.

For NON-GOVERNMENT students: In order to participate in the Premier's Reading Challenge, schools need to create a DoE account for students. This account requires the student's first name, last name and grade. Birthdate is optional but suggested in order to help identify students and match up any other PRC records from previous schools. This information is stored securely in accordance with the relevant regulations.

For HOMESCHOOL students: Parents or carers  need to register their homeschool with the PRC, and create a DoE account for students. This account requires the student's first name, last name and grade.
